Cocohagen makes organic, plant-based truffles and bars — rich in flavour, short on ingredients, and full of character. Our challenge was to create a brand identity that looked natural without feeling virtuous. Something with spirit. With edge. With the kind of understated cool you find on a Copenhagen street.
The logo is a square — a direct nod to the product’s shape — becoming a strong, recognisable frame for the Cocohagen brand. At its side sits a small bird, carried forward from the brand’s earliest days. We gave it a cap, a stance, and a bit of Copenhagen attitude. More than just a mascot, it symbolises freedom, choice, and a quiet confidence that’s baked into everything Cocohagen does.
The wordmark uses a crafted, organic typeface — one that reflects the rawness and honesty of the ingredients. It’s textured and a little imperfect, adding personality without shouting. Combined with a colour system that’s both vibrant and natural, the identity feels unprocessed, spirited, and straight-up real.
Cocohagen doesn’t try to be holy. It just is what it is: organic snacks with nothing to hide — and a lot to say.
